Amphitheater Bridge was constructed in 1931 and is the largest of the 17 Carriage Road Bridges in Acadia National Park, on Mount Desert Island, Maine.
The bridge is 245 feet long and carries Amphitheater Road over the rocky gulch of Harbor Brook. Like the other bridges in Acadia, it is constructed of granite facing on a reinforced concrete substructure. The date of construction is etched into the parapet wall on the inside of the bridge at the peak.
