It is an incredible experience to walk inside this architecture in VR!
Be sure to activate HD textures for best experience.
All elements have been UV unwraped to allow texture and lighting baking. It is far from perfect. The small gap between uv islands is sometimes too small but I realise it too late after several full baking calculations that takes days !
Here is a test render with only the sun and clear sky.
I have used only basic material without glossiness nor bump maps to limit memory usage. If someone want to go ahead in texturing work please share it !
I have split the models to seven 8k textures to allow constant pixel density with such large global surfaces. I suspect that texture sizes are limited to 4K in VR, hence reduced images may only be available. So it might be necessary to repack to 4k but I am not sure that VR will handle 28 x 4k maps.
