Roman grinding palett with pestle. Rectangular slab made of slate with bevelled side surfaces and make-up or medicinal remains on the surface. Tortured pestle made of glass with stampelike ending. Grinding stone: slate; l 9,2 cm; w 7,7 cm; pestle: glas; obtained l 6 cm; dm 0,8 cm.

Grinding pallets or make-up tablets served as a base for pulverizg and mixing healing and beautifying ointments. Pestles were used for rubbing, most of them were made of bronze, rarely of glass.
